Meg Douglas B.Ed.,M.Ed., RCT– Equine-Facilitated Wellness Practitioner Meg Douglas offers equine-facilitated wellness sessions that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and personal growth through connection with horses. She works with children, youth, adults, and families (ages 4+), focusing on confidence, boundaries, stress, and life transitions. Sessions are ground-based and experiential, requiring no horse experience. Clients can expect a calm, supportive environment where horses are active partners in reflection, learning, and connection.

Hello! My name is Alanna Landymore. I am Pro-EFW certified as a Human Services Specialist. I have a small practice, 7 minutes west of Okotoks, Alberta. I have a diploma in Child and Youth Care, a certificate in Addiction studies and more than 35 years’ experience, providing support to a wide range of populations. I offer individual sessions for children, youth and adults. I have a strong understanding of trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, self-awareness, confidence building and boundary setting, to name a few. My sessions offer gentle, slow paced, guided interactions 1:1 with horses.

I am a registered psychologist located outside of Whitehorse, Yukon, where I have been providing equine/animal facilitated psychotherapy for over eight years. I work with youth from age 12 and up and with people all the way to the senior years. All sessions with equines are held on the ground. My psychotherapy approaches include Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Certified), Internal Family Systems Therapy, Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
