Integration Week for those who are working towards certification and implementation of EFW principles in their own practice. $1400 plus GST
 July 31-August 4, 2017

This Integration week will provide an opportunity for candidates to integrate the EFW core competencies and further their learning in their particular area of study. While in a supportive and instructive environment, this is an opportunity for participants to refine their skills, develop the guidelines to work ethically within their profession, and practice the approach they will take in their work.

Open to students from previous Generation Farms - Reflection of the Horse trainings. mentoring or practice hours. A refresher of the Integrative EFW method developed at Generation Farms will be part of the program. The Generation Farms training manual for Integrative Equine Facilitated Wellness will be included, which is a very useful guide for any EFW Professional.

Integration Week for those who are working towards certification and implementation of EFW principles in their own practice or in a joint practice. $1395 plus GST before July 23,2017 $1500 + gst thereafter. (including individual mentoring session)

August 23-27 2017

The Integration Workshop is the final training step in the EFW-Can certification process.

It will include pre and post workshop components as well as an individual mentoring session.

Learning Objectives

1. Review and confirm solid understanding of EFW-Can principals and philosophies including those regarding role of the horse, safety, and ethics and their application to the participant’s professional work and practice in the EFW field. 

2. To deepen understanding of the theoretical model applied by the individual trainer (or training team) and its integration with EFW. Specific learning objectives within this area will vary with the approach being taught and at Chiron’s Way, will include the Equine Arts (integrate expressive therapies and modalities within an EFW program and how to facilitate EABC sessions (Equine Assisted Belief Change), with a focus the transformation of stress and trauma.

3. To deepen and develop applied understanding of the theoretical model (see #2 above) to EFW work through discussion, practice and case examples with different populations and different formats in accordance with the trainees Scope of Practice. 

4. To create, prepare, introduce, facilitate and debrief practice sessions within participant’s individual Scope of Practice. 

5. Further exploration (through discussion, case examples and practice) of an appropriate horsemanship approach applied by the individual trainer (training team) and its integration with EFW and EFW-Can philosophies and principals. 

6. Further development and/or completion of a Scope of Practice Statement and a Personal Progress Plan.

Elle est l’occasion de perfectionner la compréhension des concepts, de démontrer la maîtrise de la pratique et de réviser les critères en vue d’une certification finale en tant que professionnel en MFC.

Avec l’assistance des formateurs, les candidats auront également à :

  • Mettre leur énoncé de champ de pratique à jour.
  • Identifier par écrit les besoins individuels de formation et d’expériences.
  • Convenir d’une entente avec un Mentor de l’ANMFC pour l’étape suivante.

PRÉ-REQUIS:

  1. Avoir complété :
        - Étape 1 : Exploration
        - Étape 2 : 30 heures en MFC en tant que participant
        - Étape 3 et 4 : 70 heures de formation ciblée en MFC
  2. Énoncé de champ de pratique à jour
  3. Avoir débuté vos heures de mentorat (au moins 3-4 sur les 20 heures requises)
  4. Pratique active en MFC et de l'expérience-clients à partagers
