Reflection of the Horse  Week I & 2 of training in the Generation Farms Approach to Equine Facilitated Wellness  $1400 plus GST for one week. $2600 plus GST if taking both weeks in 2017.

Week 1  July 5 -10, 2017 (Thursday is a free day)

Week 2  August 21 to 26, 2017 (Monday through Saturday) This five day program has a free day on Thursday for rest and integration. (Thursday is a free day)

This is a small group training offered over two separate weeks. It fulfills the requirements for NAEFW Focus training and is intended for people who have completed an introductory EFW program. Our approach is drawn from principles of Authentic Horsemanship, Somatic Psychology, mindfulness, nature-based practice, trauma therapy, and the Epona Quest Approach. You will learn basic neurophysiology in an accessible way and apply it in simple yet powerful experiences. These fundamentals create a foundation that can be applied to a variety of EFW approaches with children and adults.

Teaching includes theoretical information, a PowerPoint presentation, hands-on exercises with horses, demonstrations, readings and supportive practice with each other.

This fulfills Focus Training Week Two requirement in the EFW - Canada Certification Program

Expand your learning about Generation Farms Approach in this five day program. This week will focus on helping others experience the world using the Generation Farms skills and approach. This week is suitable for people who are going into the EFW field. It will review the concepts of the GF Approach and put them into practice with each other and the horses including:

  • review neurobiology and EFW concepts
  • putting together an EFW session
  • practice sessions with each other
  • horse as co-therapist
  • sensory healing and re-integration
  • nature based experiential
  • practical aspects of EFW including equipment, suitable horses and facilities, insurance
  • create a personal Scope of Practice document which lays out your personal path for further development and guidelines for the work you will do
